Meet the Team

How does it all fit together? The horses, the dogs, nature, Reiki and myself? It changes each and every time and is so beautifully unique to each person’s individual  needs.

Dunder

BadonkaDonk—The King of the Castle.

Possibly because he’s the only Him in the Herd, but don’t tell him that!  He’s fully  convinced he’s 18 hands of pure beautiful miniature donkey manliness.

Dunder has been a part of our family for 19 years and I’m beyond grateful that most donkeys live to ~40 because we will gladly  embrace another 20 years of his beautiful presence. He is, without a doubt the gentlest soul I’ve ever met, quietly wooing and wowing all who take the time to ‘see’ him.

I call him the Roots of the Herd; his soft grounding energy keeps everyone tethered to the earth in the most beautiful way.

Ellie

Our Matriarch, The Queen of the Castle.

Ellie has been a part of our life since age 4 when we found each other at the CharlesTown Racetrack. Seventeen years and a third career later she’s now a proud Stay at Home Mom raising our two Littles—Phara and Hildy.

I always dreamed of an ‘Ellie baby’ because of her beautiful mind, gentle soul and competitive spirit. But when it came time for her to step down from Upper Level Eventing, having foals wasn’t in her best interest. So we did the next best thing and welcomed two beautiful youngsters for her to raise and share her wisdom, kindness, and gentle ways.

Over the years I have learned countless life lessons from Ellie and I’m endlessly grateful for every day we share this Together.

Catia

Our Fearless Leader

Catia embraces the saying “Big things Come in Small Packages”.

Growing up with Quarter Horses, I always dreamed of big, powerful warmbloods-bigger was better, in my teenage mind. But Catia has lovingly led me to embrace pint sized perfection.

I met Catia for the first time in this lifetime at a sales barn in Aiken. She stepped out of the stable with those perfectly pint sized ears and stunning expression, and I found a full-body smile I’ve never lost.

Life without her is unimaginable.  Sassy, spicy, and super sensitive, she embodies pure love, kindness and gentleness at her core while standing fully in her truth. She’s strong in her opinions, clear in her boundaries, and never afraid to express herself.

Mira

The Fun Aunt. The Court Jester.

Always with a joke or a funny antic, Mira is larger than life.  Originally loved by a lady in Florida, I found her and whisked her home to us a few years ago.

Mira was meant to be my second competitive mount, but she promptly had other ideas. In her own way, I heard “Hold my Beer, You and I have other plans.”  And she meant it. Mira delivered many powerful equine life lessons, until I caught on and pivoted in the direction she was guiding.

She’s the inspiration behind our company name and is my biggest cheerleader bringing energy work into the herd.  She loves it, thriving on connecting and orchestrating the magic. The energetic maestro manifesting the harmony in our sessions.

Hildy

Hildy the Hurricane.

The “I’m already ready already” and “Are we there yet?” kid. . At almost 3 years old, If she had a magic wand she would have waved it at birth to start doing all the Big Things.

She’s ready.. for the adventures, the challenges, the spotlight. But the very best part about Hildy? She loves people. Everything about people. She loves to greet, lick, and hug them… to be told she’s beautiful, or to impress them with her athletic stunts.

One of the sweetest, most social youngsters I’ve ever met, you’ll either find her swinging from the rafters, chasing butterflies or lying on the ground asking to snuggle.

Phara

Wise One in a Little’s Body

Our beautiful healer.

At just 2 years old, Phara is the littlest sister—always certain she’s being left behind. She and Hildy were born at the same farm, and Phara was Itty bitty when we first met. I joked with the breeder asking about a BOGO deal; he replied, “Buy one, pay full price for the second?” Fair enough. I hadn’t planned on bringing home two Littles, but she’s special —and everyone agreed. A few months later, she joined our family.

Though she is so young, Phara carries a quiet, ancient wisdom. Connecting effortlessly with a natural gift for intuitive healing. She truly loves this work, and I can’t wait to watch her grow into the Wise One she’s meant to be.

Suki

The Guardian

If you looked up the ‘sassy’ in the dictionary,  you might find Suki’s picture.  Sweet and Spicy, she’ll sing the most beautiful Shiba songs once you’ve earned your spot as a person of honor in her very inclusive person’s of honor circle. Obedience isn’t her thing as she firmly believes cuteness is a superpower that grants her privileges others don’t get.

But when it comes to reiki shes all in.  She will quietly settle nearby,  holding space with all the unconditional love her sweet little 18lb body can offer.

Baron

The Energy Balancer

Baron is a true lover of all things energy. He joined our family two years ago as my protection dog, and I was told he’d never be friendly with strangers. But Baron had other plans. “Hang on tight, That’s not my truth.” he showed us.

While he takes his role as protector seriously, he’s also incredibly kind and loves to make people laugh—once they pass his sniff test. He’s convinced that chasing sticks and balls is his real job, and I often have to remind him that his body isn’t quite built for that career path anymore.

Jen

What’s next? This question played  on repeat in my mind after the lifetime passion of a competitive horse show career no longer filled my bucket… and my beautiful children spread their wings and began their next chapter.

Horses have always been central to my life, so I began my soul search to discover how I could weave my love of horses into serving the collective.  I took all the courses that resonated with helping horses, Myofascial Release, Tensegrity, Nerve Release, Masterson Method, Myofascial kinetic line release through blading, hoof trimming, and Animal Communication to name a few. I loved them all, however they weren’t the whole answer.

I began to feel the pull to work with Horses, Humans, and the Land. But, it didn’t make sense until I was guided to Reiki. And then the pieces began to align, as if my soul has been quietly asking me to find this connection all along.

And the best part? Sharing these gifts fills my heart and soul in a way I never knew was possible. I’m in awe with how each of my horses show up during reflection sessions,  supporting people in such unique and powerful ways.  And in distance reiki sessions, I’m continuously amazed by the deep, intuitive bond animals have with their humans.

It’s an honor to witness—and to help share their voices when their humans are ready to listen.

Together

How does it all fit together? The horses, the dogs, nature, Reiki and myself? It changes each and every time and is so beautifully unique to each person’s individual needs.

When I’m with my herd, they reflect different layers of our connection :

  • Mira mirrors our Spirit
  • Hildy reflects the Inner Child
  • Phara mirrors the Soul’s Purpose and Higher Truth
  • Catia reflects Self-Love, Firm Boundaries
  • Ellie embodies the Divine Feminine
  • Dunder holds the essence of the Divine Masculine

Baron and Suki hold the container with unconditional love and support, balance and strength, while the Land itself reveals the delicate balance between giving and receiving.

Like a multi-layered cake, we come together to reflect the aspects of yourself you’re ready to explore—guiding you gently on your journey toward wholeness.
